Commission Information

This page contains information about my DOs and DONTs, how I perform commissions and refunds, and when you can expect a finished commission.

When you purchase a commission from me, I have the right to use the resulting artwork for promotional purposes unless otherwise agreed upon. Similarly, when you purchase a commission from me, you're only allowed to use my artwork for personal purposes. If you wish to commission me for professional or commercial matters, we can discuss that privately.Fees may be incurred when these conditions are changed, and will be agreed upon at the time of discussion.

My DOs and DONTsJust because something is on my DONTs list doesn't automatically mean I morally object to the concept! Some DONTs are put in place simply because I'm not selling that content. Thank you for your understanding.If something you're interested in requesting isn't on these lists, please ask me about it!This list is prone to updates and changes at any time for any reason.

Process and Progress Reports1. When you send me your references and detail what you'd like to see from me (or fill out my commission form), I'll draw up a brief sketch with a colour palette and confirm your satisfaction.
Suggestions and changes are easiest to make at this stage, as we will be going back and forth until you're happy.2. After I produce a sketch you're pleased with, you will pay me 1/2 of the total price of the commission, and I'll proceed with line art and colouring.* I will update you when these stages are complete as needed, but I won't show physical progress unless it's urgent (something on your character's design has changed, you've forgotten a detail you wanted to include, etc).
Moderate suggestions and changes can still be requested as needed.3. Once I'm finished with your piece, I will send blurred proof of the finished artwork to confirm completion. I will ask for the other 1/2 of the total payment to be transferred before I send it over.
Beyond this point, only slight adjustments are able to be made, and it is my decision whether or not to honour your request._{*This is a Commitment Fee. It ensures that you know I will follow up on and complete your commission, and that I know you're committed to buying my piece. It's sort of like insurance for the both of us!
It also ensures that you're paying for what you receive. I elaborate on this in my Payment and Refund Policy below.}

Payment and Refund PolicyI only accept payments via PayPal at the moment! Thank you for your understanding.The Commitment Fee will always be 1/2 of the total price.
For example: If you're purchasing a commission from me with a total price of $30, your Commitment Fee will be $15.All payments are final.
However, there is a conditional exception to this rule.If I am unable to finish your commission for any reason, depending on where I am in the artistic process, I could offer you a refund.For example: If you've already confirmed a sketch with me and paid the Commitment Fee, but I'm unable to finish the 2nd line art stage because my stylus has stopped working, I will refund you 1/2 of the Commitment Fee so you're only paying for the 1st sketch stage. (Using the above example, I would refund you $7.50.)
However: If I've finished the 2nd stage but cannot finish the 3rd, I will send you the uncoloured line art. I will not refund you your Commitment Fee, but you will not be obligated to pay the other 1/2 of the full price.No refunds will be issued after the 3rd stage, when the final product is delivered and the full payment is made. There are no exceptions to this rule.

Estimated Time of CompletionThe time it takes for me to complete your commission will vary depending on the style, colouring, background, and general level of complexity for your character. You can expect your commission to be done within one week or sooner.If there are delays or unexpected mishaps that prevent me from finishing your commission sooner, I will do my best to alert you ASAP.

This page contains information about my prices.All dollar values are in USD (United States Dollars)! PayPal has a built in conversion system for some currencies.All prices are final.
I am not looking for criticisms, nor will I bargain or bicker. Thank you for your understanding.

Detailed Background = $30+ character = $15 per subject(For example: A [shoulders - simplistic - flat colour - flat background] artwork will come out to $20. A [full body - anatomical - polished - detailed background] artwork will come out to $70.)
